The future of garment manufacturing
A sustainable approach for garment fabrication
Each year, millions of tons of textile end up in land fill and will stay there for over 200 years.
We will continue to innovate so we can make 99% of our healthcare garments sustainable by 2023. Sourcing recycled yarns and fabrications has already commenced for our corporate range.
In addition, from the commencement of 2023 we are introducing sustainable packaging and a recycle program.View Recycle Range

Recycled High Performance fibre
Introducing recycled polyester into our fabrics and giving a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean is a priority.
Recycled polyester called rPet, is made from recycled plastic bottles, they collect PET bottles, wash them, dry, and shred them into small polyester chips, which then go through the traditional fibre making process. The chips are heated and passed through a spinneret to form strings of yarn. The yarn is passed through crimping machines to create a fluffy woolly texture. The yarn is then woven into polyester fabric.
To give some perspective, five plastic drink bottles yield enough fibre for one large t-shirt.
